REUSE

Renovating an existing building is more sustainable than new construction, as less material is demolished and deconstructed. The less we put into the waste stream, the less the earth is thrown out of balance. Our generation of waste can be greatly reduced when given proper consideration. Much of the waste we generate can be diverted from landfill sites to recycling centers. This starts with demolition, continues through construction, including the manufacturing of building materials and continues long after the building is complete.
