SITE ORIENTATION

The direction a building is situated on a site can be a major contributor in helping to reduce heating and cooling requirements. In taking the sun's position into account and considering the prevailing winds, the functionality of a structure can be greatly improved by utilizing all of nature's elements. By working with nature we can be more efficient, instead of figuring ways to keep nature at bay and out of our buildings.
